— Hanford State of the Site meetings begin today in Seattle and the first meeting will be webcast starting at 7 p.m. at

The Department of Energy, Washington State Department of Ecology and the Environmental Protection Agency will give an update on environmental cleanup at the Hanford nuclear reservation and then open the meeting for questions and discussion.

Additional Hanford State of Site meetings are planned Wednesday in Portland and Thursday in Hood River, Oregon.

The final meeting will be held at the Red Lion Hotel Hanford House in Richland April 29. Doors open to view displays at 5:30 p.m., the Hanford story video will be shown at 6:15 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
