Pasco's Jalayne Martinez wins MCC golf title

Jalayne Martinez of Pasco fired a 79 to take medalist honors at Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Walla Walla on Monday.

Southridge won the team title with 362 strokes, as Catherine Warner paced the Suns with an 80 for a second-place finish.

Pasco’s Neydeen Martinez and Walla Walla’s Jessica Huntsman placed third with 82s.
