Tri-City author to sign book about cancer fight Monday

— Gayle Bittinger, author of the book “Leading a Charmed Life — My Journey Through Cancer Treatment,” will sign her book at a dessert social and silent auction from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday in the Richland High School cafeteria, 930 Long Ave.

Gayle is the wife of Richland High science teacher John Bittinger.

The book is her personal account of living with breast cancer treatment. The event is a fundraiser for the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. Everyone is welcome. To learn more, call Holly Espinosa at 545-8573.
