No one hurt in Kennewick duplex blaze

A blaze Friday afternoon damaged a duplex on the 200 block of South Irving Street in Kennewick.

Firefighters were called to the duplex about 4:35 p.m. They found fire in a back bedroom and quickly got it out, a Kennewick Fire Department news release said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No one was hurt. The unit where the fire started was damaged, but the second unit wasn’t, the news release said.

Benton Fire District 1 and Franklin Fire District 3 also responded.
