Yard waste will be picked up by Richland crews during April

Tri-City HeraldApril 10, 2014

During the month of April, Richland Solid Waste Crews will have an additional truck in neighborhoods to collect bagged and bundled yard waste from the curb each week.

Bags and bundled wood waste will be collected each week at the curb, while green yard waste containers will continue to be emptied every other week (first, third and last week of April).

Waste must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on garbage collection day.

Wood waste must not be larger than 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and should be bundled for easy handling.

For more information, go to www.ci.richland.wa.us/solidwaste and link to Residential Yard Waste or call 942-7700.
