Employee helps police catch burglary suspects

— An employee at a Kennewick business helped police nab two suspects who may be tied to multiple break-ins.

Police arrested Cameron E. Campbell, 23, and Calvin W. Fox, 21, near a business that was broken into on Tuesday, police said.

The employee works at the business and saw the men in a nearby field, police said. He thought the men looked suspicious and called 911.

A detective was able to identify the men as burglary suspects, police said. Police found backpacks with burglary tools the suspects apparently ditched prior to their arrests.

Campbell and Fox were booked Wednesday into the Benton County jail for outstanding warrants, police said. Prosecutors are reviewing the case.
