Nuclear fuel rod tool to be discussed in Richland

A new tool being used by Areva to prevent nuclear fuel rod failure will be discussed Tuesday in Richland.

Ralph Grummer of Areva NP in Richland will present the program to the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society at the Shilo Inn.

There is no charge to attend his talk at 7:30 p.m., but those who want to attend the dinner meeting an hour earlier will be charged $22 and should make reservations by Friday by calling 366-9632.
