Letter: Lost and found

April 9, 2014

I woke up to find out that my wallet was missing. That was a scary thing. Long ago, I scanned all my cards and license and put it in a secure place so if this happened I could act fast. Everyone should do this to make it easy to alert the credit card people, bank, etc.

The owner-operator of our Grocery Outlet store called me and told me he had my wallet in the safe. I insisted that he and the clerk who had found it get a reward. He refused. What a great store to have such honest people working in it.

It was my fault because everyone knows you shop there first because of the bargains then go elsewhere later. We did it backwards, and I dropped my wallet.

Thank you all at Grocery Outlet.
