Shriners sponsoring kids screening clinic in Pasco

By The Tri-City HeraldApril 8, 2014

Columbia Basin Shriners is sponsoring a free screening clinic 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for children from birth to age 18 with burns, scarring issues and orthopedic problems.

Medical issues could include scoliosis or hip, spinal, arm, shoulder, leg, foot and joint problems.

The screenings last about a half-hour and help determine if a child is eligible for treatment at the Spokane Shriners hospital. The clinic is at Tri-Cities Community Health, 515 W. Court St., Pasco.

Spanish interpreters will be available and appointments aren't required.

Parents should bring their child's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of guardianship if applicable.
