— A Kennewick man was taken to the hospital Tuesday after the Honda Civic he was driving crashed into a barrier on Interstate 182.

Michael L. LeClair, 29, tried to exit off the interstate to 20th Avenue in Pasco around 11 a.m. when he lost control and crashed, according to the Washington State Patrol.

He suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no one else was in the car with LeClair.

Inattention was to blame for the crash and LeClair was cited for speeding, state patrol said. The Civic was totaled and towed form the scene.
