An amber alert has been issued for Jasmine Sphuler, 8. She may be headed to Lewiston, ID with her mother, Lizabeth.

— Authorities canceled an Amber Alert early Friday for an 8-year-old Walla Walla girl who may have been headed to Idaho with her mother, according to law enforcement officials.

The Associated Press reported that Jasmine Sphuler was found in the local area and was in good condition. No other details were released.

Jasmine called a family friend Thursday and said her mother, Lizabeth, cut her wrists, police said. When officers arrived at the house at 215 S. Fourth Ave. in Walla Walla, the pair were gone and there was blood in the house.

Lizabeth Sphuler may have been distraught over a recent break up and left for Lewiston, Idaho, police said. Police believe Jasmine may have been in danger.

The pair were believed to be traveling in a white, 2000s model Jeep Cherokee with the license plate 552WUP, officials said in an alert.

Authorities canceled the alert at 12:03 a.m. Friday.
