Gesa Credit Union to match donations for mudslide survivors

Tri-City HeraldApril 3, 2014

Gesa Credit Union has announced it will match donations from the community -- dollar for dollar, up to a total of $10,000 -- to support the survivors of the deadly mudslide in Snohomish County that happened March 22.

"The loss of lives and family homes is overwhelming, and the mudslide is one of the most horrific natural disasters seen in the Northwest in decades," said Don Miller, Gesa's president and CEO.

Donations will be collected by the Northwest Credit Union Foundation and distributed through United Way of Snohomish County. All donations will be used to meet housing and other immediate needs of the survivors.

Those who wish to contribute can go to any Gesa Credit Union branch before Wednesday, April 9, to have their donation matched by the credit union.
