Handbook for Unemployed Workers to stop being mailed April 4

Tri-City HeraldApril 3, 2014

The state Employment Security Department will stop routinely mailing its Handbook for Unemployed Workers to everyone who applies for unemployment benefits because the same information can be accessed online.

Starting Friday, April 4, anyone who applies for unemployment benefits will receive an email on how to download the handbook from the department's website.

Printed copies are available at WorkSource centers or by calling Employment Security claims centers at 800-318-6022.
