No injuries in I-82 crash outside Kennewick

Tri-City HeraldApril 3, 2014

Interstate 82 was blocked for about an hour Thursday outside of Kennewick after a pickup truck and the trailer it was hauling flipped on their sides.

The truck and trailer were westbound when they crashed around 2:40 p.m, Washington State Patrol officials said. It’s unclear what caused the crash though one of the trailers tires did blow out at some point before or during the incident.

The crash blocked both westbound lanes near milepost 117, though traffic was getting through by driving on the highway shoulder. There were no injuries and the truck and trailer were towed away.
