Tri-City Hughesman Award nominations being accepted

KENNEWICK -- Nominations are being accepted for the 2014 Hughesman Award which honors volunteerism and community involvement among young adults in Benton and Franklin counties.

The $1,000 scholarship is named for former Tri-City Americans player Adam Hughesman. It's given annually to an individual age 21 or younger.

Nomination forms are available at Or drop by the chamber office, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

Nominations are due May 2.

The award will be presented at the chamber's May Network Tri-Cities Luncheon on May 28 at Three Rivers Convention Center, Kennewick.
