April 11 deadline for student Earth Day poster contest

Students K-12 have until April 11 to submit their artwork for the National Earth Day 2014 Green Cities Campaign poster contest.

The theme for this year is "Green Cities," and participants are asked to create a work of art expressing what a "Green City" looks like to them.

Award criteria is based on use of theme, educational value to others, creativity and clarity. Entries will be posted online for voting April 14-18, and the winners will be announced April 22.
