Richland men arrested after advertising computer

— Two Richland men were booked into the Benton County jail Saturday night after allegedly trying to sell a stolen laptop computer.

The victim of a Richland car prowl contacted police when he saw his computer listed on Craigslist, according to the Kennewick police.

The Kennewick Criminal Apprehension Team arranged to have a potential buyer meet the seller in the Kennewick Safeway parking lot, where officers were waiting at 8:48 p.m.

Colton M. Thomas, 20, and Tyler C. Thomas, 22, were arrested, according to police reports. Tyler Thomas also had other outstanding arrest warrants, according to police reports.
