Mid-Columbia highway repairs might cause delays

Tri-City HeraldMarch 29, 2014

Drivers on three Mid-Columbia highways could see some delays next week as state road crews work on repairs.

Drivers will see lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday near the Interstate 182 bridges linking Pasco and Richland, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Lanes will be closed noon to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and from 7 to 11 a.m. Wednesday while crews repair sensors.

Also, lanes will be closed on the Interstate 82 bridge over the Yakima River at Prosser from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday while crews work on the bridge deck.

And, one lane of Highway 224 between Benton City and West Richland will be restricted while utility work is done during daylight into evening hours Tuesday and Wednesday.

The work will be near West Richland.
