A Kennewick man was arrested Thursday in connection with stealing the identity of two Kennewick women.

Gabriel A. Velazquez, 30, who was sought earlier this week by Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers, was arrested after investigators found him in a trailer at 2105 N. Steptoe St.

The victims reported fraudulent use of a credit card on their shared checking account Feb. 16, according to police.

Police determined Velazquez allegedly used their credit card to make purchases at numerous locations in Kennewick. He also had nine outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Velazquez was originally charged in connection with two counts of methamphetamine possession and second-degree theft, authorities said. He also has several misdemeanor warrants.
