Lowe's stores in Kennewick, Pasco accepting mudslide donations

Tri-City HeraldMarch 27, 2014

Lowe's stores in Kennewick and Pasco, along with other Washington Lowe's, are accepting donations for American Red Cross for the deadly Snohomish County mudslide.

Donations are being accepted now through April 27.

Since Saturday, the American Red Cross has provided shelter, water and health services in the affected area. The nonprofit also has four response vehicles and more than 100 trained workers in Snohomish County to provide support. Red Cross family care centers are open in Darrington giving meals, emotional support, child care and information about available assistance.

Lowe's is also donating emergency supplies to search.
