Wakefield Return Home

Southridge graduate Travis Wakefield is hugged by his mother, Annette, after he surprised her Thursday with an early return from his six-month Air Force basic training in Texas. He, with his father, Eric, strolled into her classroom at the Fruitland Building, where she’s a para-educator, about 10 hours earlier then she expected. "You guys tricked me. He kept telling me he’d be getting in late (at the airport)," she exclaimed. His twin, Colby, returns next week from his Air Force training. Both plan to be stationed in Guam.
