Softball: Hanford's big offensive day overwhelms Sunnyside

Sabrina Bozich was 2-for-2 with a double, triple and four RBIs as Hanford rolled past Sunnyside 16-0 in a nonleague softball game in Richland.

The Falcons scored seven runs in each of the first two innings, banging out a total of 16 hits in the game.

Alane Wilkerson was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. She also threw two scoreless innings in relief of Kadi Patterson, who was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs.

“It was a good day,” Hanford coach Lesley Guereca said. “Our kids played well as a team.”
