Herald staffMarch 24, 2014

The public is invited to "tour through Egypt" as a part of the Finley Middle School's annual Pyramid Night at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Finley school gymnasium, 37208 S. Finley Road in Kennewick.

The free event is coordinated by sixth-grade teachers across each grade level as a part of an annual cross-curricular unit on ancient Egypt, incorporating different aspects of ancient Egyptian culture into sixth-grade math, science, social studies and English classes.

Sixth-graders will present their Egypt-related culminating projects to visitors.

For more information, contact the Finley Middle School office at 586-7561.
