By the Tri-City HeraldMarch 22, 2014

The Southridge boys 4x200-meter relay team of Masceo Ealy-Thomas, Clay Gonzales, Tanner Pope and Brandon Zane broke the meet record at the Ram Relays, finishing in 1 minute 32.62 seconds to eclipse the mark of 1:34.8 set by Pasco in 1996.

“I asked somebody if we broke the meet record, and they said, ‘No, you smashed it,’ ” Suns coach Ted Homme said.

Hanford, anchored by Dallon Grinder’s double win in the shotput and discus, won the boys title with 102 points, while Kamiakin won the girls title by piling up 134 points — doubling up Southridge (67 points).
