March 21, 2014

— Police are investigating a hit and run crash in Pasco that occurred just before 10 p.m. Thursday, the Washington State Patrol said.

Vanessa C. Gomez Garcia, 21, of Kennewick, was driving south on Highway 395 and took the exit to Court Street, the state patrol said. Another vehicle, a white Dodge Durango, attempted to enter Highway 295 from the wrong direction and struck Gomez Garcia's 2005 Nissan Altima.

The Durango fled the crash scene, the state patrol said.

Gomez Garcia was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco, where she was treated and released.
