Letter: Mid-Columbia Musical Theatre's 'Les Mis' superb

March 19, 2014

It was a real joy to be vacationing in the Tri-Cities recently and to have the chance to see a final rehearsal of Mid-Columbia Musical Theatre's production of Les Miserables. Because my wife and I seek to retire closer to family, we are thrilled to know that truly high-level, professional-type theatrical experiences are available in the Tri-Cities.

Congratulations to the outstanding cast, crew and production staff who brought Les Mis to life in such a captivating and moving way. Musically, there is no doubt in my mind that this production would hold its own with any across the country. It was vocally superb in every way, and the addition of local symphony members and conductor only heightened the show's professionalism.

Thank you for giving me a very special night to remember and yet another reason to love visiting your community! It is my hope that your readers will make every effort to not miss this incredible production!

w Editor's note: The final performances are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available at Adventures Underground in Richland and online at mcmt.tix.com.
