Tri-Cities under wind advisory

— The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 5 p.m. Monday for most of the Mid-Columbia.

Blowing dust is expected in places as the wind gusts as high as 45 mph in the Tri-Cities, according to the weather service.

Sustained speeds of 32 to 34 mph are expected in the Tri-Cities, decreasing to 16 to 21 mph Monday night.

However, gusts could be has high as 31 mph Monday night.

Mild temperatures are expected to continue throughout the week, with highs in the mid to upper 50s and lows in the mid 30s.
