CBC baseball sweeps Southwestern Oregon

March 15, 2014

COLUMBIA BASIN 5-8, SOUTHWEST OREGON 3-3: Middle relief was the name of the game for the Hawks, who got solid performances from JD Page and Evan Harder on Saturday in a nonconference sweep of Southwestern Oregon in Pasco.

Page turned in four scoreless innings in relief of Ryker Ford in the Game 1 win, and Harder went five shutout innings in the nightcap.

“Our pitching out of the bullpen was a definite strength,” CBC coach Scott Rogers said. “It was really the difference-maker.”
