Letter: Cleaning crew

Thank you to the Tri-City Plinkers.

Someone has to publicly thank these people! I saw a news segment on KNDU on Feb. 22 about members of the Tri City Plinkers cleaning up Webber Canyon that day, removing a lot of garbage. Wow! On a day that they would have loved to do their "plinking," and a day off from work, they worked to make a better community.

And it sounds like they will take time in the future to focus on other land areas spoiled by careless shooters and thoughtless people.

I am not in their sport, nor do I have claim to any property around where they cleaned, but I salute them all for this taking care of our land. My husband and I are campers and do our bit: we strive to leave campsites cleaner than when we arrive. Who else will take care of our land if we (all) don't.
