Tri-City HeraldMarch 7, 2014

— A Kennewick man was arrested after allegedly making threats to shoot people at an office with an airsoft gun.

Patrick Thomas Whiteman was booked into the Benton County Jail on Thursday for suspicion of felony harassment.

Police say Whiteman told an employee at the office about his plans to shoot people and then protest out in front of the location.

The employee took the threats seriously and called police. The office was on lockdown for a period of time.
