Tri-City Young Marines look for meeting space

Tri-City HeraldMarch 5, 2014

The Tri-City Young Marines group is looking for a new home.

The nonprofit has to move out of the Kiwanis building in the west end of Columbia Park that it has used for its meetings because of renovations starting in mid-March, said Jeff Carlyle, commanding officer.

The group needs a meeting room with access to a bathroom. It would not be able to pay rent but Carlyle said the Young Marines would be willing to do community service in exchange for the use of a meeting space.

The group numbers about 40 co-ed members, ranging in age from 8 to 18.

Anyone with space available for the group to use should call Carlyle at 582-6622.
