Nominations sought for small business awards

Businesses in Benton and Franklin counties with fewer than 60 full-time employees are encouraged to participate in the 19th annual Mid-Columbia Small Business Awards.

Intent-to-nominate forms are due by March 14, and final applications will be accepted no later than March 28. Forms and information are available at http://midcolumbiasmallbiz.com. Nominations will be accepted from any resident of Benton or Franklin counties who is an employee, customer, supplier or regulator of the nominated business. Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate.

A workshop will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. March 19 at the Sandberg Event Center, 331 South 41st Ave. in West Richland to assist applicants with the nomination process.
