Registration for Hanford B Reactor tours this year starts at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday and some seats may still be available for Hanford sitewide tours after registration for those seats opened at 6 p.m. Monday.

Registration for tours of the historic reactor is available at, by calling 509-376-1647 or by visiting the B Reactor Tour Headquarters at 2000 Logston Blvd., Richland.

B Reactor tours are planned on about 50 days from April 1 through Sept. 18. Participants take a bus from the tour headquarters to the reactor.

The sitewide tours of Hanford also include a brief walking tour of B Reactor, plus a stop at several environmental cleanup projects. Registration for those tours is available only online at, and the seats are claimed quickly.
