Herald staffMarch 3, 2014

Students at Pasco's Virgie Robinson Elementary School raised $3,000 for a teacher undergoing medical treatment in Seattle.

Members of the school's K Kids Club, which is sponsored by local Kiwanis Club members, organized a penny drive to collect the money.

Another Robinson teacher recently delivered the check to the teacher at the hospital.
