Hanford High student still missing

A Hanford High School honor roll student who was reported missing by family members over the weekend has not been found, said Richland police.

Sasha Townsend, 17, was reported missing Friday after she apparently left her high school shortly after 5 p.m.

Police said Townsend, who has run away at least once before, has not contacted her family.

She was last seen wearing black jeans, a black T-shirt and a black sweatshirt. She was carrying a black bag with a red ribbon.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Richland police at 628-0333.
