Tritium production alternatives to be discussed March 18 at meeting in Richland

Alternatives for tritium production in advanced reactors will be discussed at the March 18 meeting of the Eastern Washington Chapter of the American Nuclear Society.

Steve Sheetz, a nuclear energy program manager in the Clean Energy Directorate at the Savannah River National Laboratory, will speak. He is developing plans for advanced tritium production.

There is no charge to attend his talk at 7 p.m. at the Shilo Inn, Richland. However, those who want to attend a dinner meeting an hour earlier will be charged $22 and should make reservations by 4 p.m. March 14 by calling 509-521-6499.
