Ams end skid with win over Spokane

The Tri-City Americans snapped an eight-game losing streak Saturday night with a 3-0 win over the host Spokane Chiefs, getting 34 saves from goalie Eric Comrie in the shutout.

With the win, the Americans increased its lead on the Prince George Cougars to four points as both teams fight for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Parker Bowles, Brandon Carlo and Brian Williams scored for Tri-City, Williams notching his 36th goal and Bowles extending his point streak to five games.
