Tri-City Union Gospel Mission women's shelter receives grant

Soroptimist International of Pasco-Kennewick awarded a $4,000 grant to the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission women's shelter to buy a commercial washer and dryer.

The group also gave a grant of $1,000 to the Support Advocacy and Resource Center for work with the Sexual Assault Response Center to help children heal through fun and productive activities.

Soroptimists supports local programs through fundraising, donations and service in the hopes of improving the lives of women and girls in the community.
