The hands of River View Elementary School students in Finley unite with a red X to raise awareness about abolishing slavery Thursday as part of a worldwide Shine a Light on Slavery event. Participants were encouraged to draw a red X on their hand to tell the world that slavery still exists and they “won’t stand for it.”
