Letter: Let's be smoke free

February 27, 2014

I read the newspaper on Feb. 9, searching for an article that got my attention, so I could write a letter to the editor. I'm happy to learn that according to one article, smoking is declining in popularity and is no longer considered normal behavior. Last year, in fifth-grade DARE program, I was shocked to learn the consequences of smoking, with the worst consequence being death.

I'm thankful to live in a smoke-free home and look forward to the possibility of a smoke-free world
