Dade Moeller to develop online safety course

By The Tri-City HeraldFebruary 26, 2014

Dade Moeller of Richland has formed a partnership with Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J., to develop an online, noncredit course in radiation safety training.

It is the first time that the Dade Moeller training academy's radiation safety officer course is being offered online nationally to adults. It has been taken in the classroom by more than 2,500 radiation safety officers in the past 23 years. The 45-hour course, called "Radiation Safety Officer," is designed to prepare students to meet mandated federal and state training requirements for radiation safety.

The college also has worked with Dade Moeller to create an exam that will allow students to earn three college credits for the course. For more information, go to
