Saming Senket, 27, of Kennewick rides onto the sidewalk Tuesday afternoon while zipping westbound on West Fourth Avenue on his battery-powered electric skateboard. The rechargeable ride has a top speed of about 23-mph and a range of about 15 miles from a five-hour charge. Senket often rides the skateboard, which cost about $1,200, to work.
