Police: Man pulls gun on Kennewick mall store employee

February 25, 2014

— An employee at T-Mobile reported a man pulled a gun on him after taking an iPad from the Kennewick store.

The suspect came into the Columbia Center Mall store on Monday night and stole an iPad Air that was out for display, police said. The employee followed the man out and confronted him.

The suspect turned around and reportedly had a black pistol in his hand, police said. The man got into a maroon and silver Chevy Suburban. He was last seen driving toward Costco on Quinault Street.

The suspect was in his late 20s to early 30s, police said. He was wearing a black baseball hat, black sweatpants and a black zip-up jacket with a white undershirt. Both the pants and jacket had a red stripe.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Kennewick police at 509-628-0333.
