Four murder suspects arrested in Eastern Washington, Idaho

The U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force recently arrested four homicide suspects.

Michael David Meier, 17, of Moses Lake, was arrested Feb. 20 in Moses Lake in connection with the killing of a 16-year-old Moses Lake boy.

Michael A. Barajas, 21, of Mattawa, was arrested Feb. 21 in Othello. Barajas is suspected in a gang-related stabbing on the Central Washington University campus in Ellensburg.

Also Feb. 21, Nichole Star Coggins no age provided of Bellingham, was arrested in Yakima on second-degree murder charges. She is suspected of drugging a man to steal his ATM card. The victim later died from a drug overdose.

On Feb. 22, Christopher W. Olsen, 32, was arrested in Post Falls, Idaho, in connection with a Pierce County homicide where he and another unnamed suspect are believed to have been involved in a car theft where the victim was found shot in the head in the stolen vehicle. He is from Pierce County.

The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force involves law enforcement officers from Eastern and Western Washington, as well as Oregon and Alaska.
