Letter: Dopey venture

February 25, 2014

I think the Washington Dope Commission may have gotten me again. I was planning to build a high-end strip mall featuring a Cannabis Boutique in the Tri-Cities. Now, it looks like it will be impossible to get a permit.

Could they be discriminating against me because I am Canabian?

In addition to our boutique, we planned to have a restaurant and bar named Booters and a video arcade, immediate care clinic and a crash test dummy track for patrons to check sobriety before driving.

My intention was to make this a destination strip mall that would draw visitors from many parts of the world to the Tri-Cities.

Hope readers will contact the Dope Commission and petition for a permit for this venture.
