New positions

-- Mortgage Loan Officers Dorothy Lopez Stevens and Kendal Becker have joined HomeStreet Bank in the Kennewick Home Loan Center.

-- Greg Dixon has been named services manager for Blinding Clean in Kennewick. Before his promotion, Dixon served as lead technician. The firm was established in the Tri-Cities in 1997 and sells new blinds, repairs blinds and does mobile ultrasonic cleaning.

-- Al Thiemens and Amanda Waltman have joined Baker Boyer Bank's Kennewick Business Banking team.

Thiemens has been appointed vice president and business banking officer, and brings with him 17 years of consumer and commercial lending experience.

Waltman is a credit executive officer. She has more than 10 years of banking experience, primarily on a local and regional business level.


-- The 13th annual Angel Share Auction raised almost $120,000 for industry scholarships, education, outreach and research through the Washington Wine Industry Foundation. A total of $42,500 was donated specifically for the foundation's scholarship fund. Almost $12,000 was given out in scholarships for students in undergraduate and graduate programs in the wine industry.

Scholarship recipients were: Allison Baker, Washington State University, Clore Scholarship; Adam Bright, WSU, Clore and Preston Scholarships; Bhanu Priya Donda, WSU, Clore Scholarship; Kenneth McMahon, WSU, Clore Scholarship; Jensena Newhouse, Yakima Valley Community College, Horse Heaven Hills Wine Growers Scholarship; Taylor Oswald, WSU, Clore Scholarship; Lyle Dowsett, University of California, Davis, Clore Scholarship; and Braden Mortensen, YVCC, Horse Heaven Hills Wine Growers Scholarship.
