PENDLETON -- The Oregon State Police continue to investigate Thursday night's two-vehicle wreck that closed Highway 204 in Umatilla County for about two hours.

A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Harrell R. Phillips, 66, of Athena, was traveling westbound on Highway 204 near milepost 2 about two miles east of Highway 11 when it was involved in an almost head-on crash about 8:52 p.m. with an eastbound 1998 Jeep Cherokee driven by Montana Rex Batterton, 19, of Weston, state police said.

Phillips, Batterton and an adult male passenger in the Chevrolet Silverado were all seriously injured and taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, state police said.
