Tri-City HeraldFebruary 20, 2014

— Police have investigated multiple residential burglaries in the same area of Kennewick since the start of the month.

At least four break-ins have been reported around Yelm Street and Highway 395, Sgt. Ken Lattin said. They have all taken place in the evening on weekends.

Two of the burglaries happened on separate Sundays and the most recent ones took place last Saturday, Lattin said. Electronics, game consoles and two safes were stolen.

Kennewick police are asking citizens to call 911 if they see any suspicious people or vehicles in their neighborhoods.

Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 586-8477, 800-222-8477 or www.tricitiescrimestoppers.org.
