Update: Police arrest two suspects after car chase in Pasco

A car is towed from the scene where police say two suspects led officers on a short chase that ended in a crash.

— Police arrested two suspects who reportedly crashed a car after leading officers on a short chase.

Police said an unmarked patrol car tried to stop the black car shortly before noon Wednesday and the driver fled.

The chase ended around 8th Avenue and Lewis Street when the car crashed into another vehicle, police said. Two male suspects ran from the car and officers gave chase.

The suspects were able to allude officers for a short period of time before they were arrested in the area of the crash.

One suspect was reportedly taken to the hospital.

Police said Longfellow Elementary was briefly shut down while officers searched for the suspects.
