After school drama about bullying performed Feb. 20 in Pasco

Markham Elementary School afterschool drama club presents “Bullies Anonymous,” an entertaining musical about the hurtful effects of bullying, on Feb. 20 at 9:30 a.m., 2:45 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. There will be a short reception for the show’s 23 actors and their guests following the evening performance.

"The opportunity to share this anti-bullying message with all of our students reinforces the message that bullying is unacceptable and hurts others,” says Principal Wendy Lechelt-Polster. “This play has a positive message for all.”

Directors Tara Childs and Susan Darrington agree. “It is exciting to see the students develop their presentation skills and experience the enthusiasm and teamwork generated by an extracurricular project of this nature,” says Darrington.

The show is free and open to the public, but visitors must check in at the office first.
